Geofenced Attendance
TimeboxHR Geofenced Attendance lets employees record Time In, Time Out, Break Out, and Break In from a phone or tablet — only when they are inside an approved branch or work site. GPS location, identity confirmation, and attendance history sync with Timekeeping and Payroll.
Sign in on the device they already carry
Employees open the Geofenced Attendance app and sign in with their TimeboxHR account. On supported phones, they can use fingerprint sign-in so access is faster and tied to the person holding the device.
GeoAttendanceInstall it on the phone
Employees can also install the app on their phone for a home-screen shortcut and faster access. The GeoAttendance icon stays on the device — tap it like any other app, without opening a browser or visiting a gate scanner.
Punch only inside the approved work site
After sign-in, the app shows the employee name, current time, and a live map of their GPS position against assigned branches or sites. A status chip confirms whether they are inside or outside the geofence.
Time In, Time Out, Break Out, and Break In remain disabled until the employee is within the configured radius. Each punch can require fingerprint confirmation, then appears in today's history with the site name and time.

Geofenced Attendance works alongside the DTR Scanning Web App and biometric devices, so every location can use the capture method that fits the site.

Sign in

Confirm location
The app reads GPS, stabilizes the reading, and checks it against the assigned work-site radius. Punching stays disabled until the employee is inside an approved zone.
Verify identity
Each Time In, Time Out, Break Out, or Break In is confirmed with fingerprint on supported devices, so the punch belongs to the employee—not a shared phone.
Record attendance
The punch is stored with time, GPS coordinates, and site name, then synchronized with Timekeeping and Payroll.
